Building your Sunday slides with a free tool is a leap of faith. You're trusting that it stays free, that your lyrics aren't being stockpiled somewhere, and that we won't quietly bolt on watermarks or a paywall later. Here is what we commit to — in writing, on a public URL, so you can refer back to it any time.

1. Free forever — no paywall, no surprise fees

Song Slides is free and will stay free. There's no trial that expires, no "pro" tier hiding the good features, and no per-slide or per-export charge. The whole point is to take the cost out of getting hymn and worship lyrics onto the screen, and that won't change.

2. No watermarks, no accounts, no ads

Your exported slides are clean — no logo stamped in the corner, no "made with" footer. You don't sign up, you don't log in, and you won't see ads or upsells. Open the app, paste or pick your lyrics, and download your .pptx, PDF, or images.

3. Open source — you can keep it without us

Song Slides is open source under the MIT license. The code is public, so anyone can read it, fork it, or self-host it. If song2slides.com ever vanishes, the project doesn't — you can run your own copy and keep generating slides on your own machine, no lock-in.

4. We don't store your lyrics

Lyrics you paste or import are processed to build your slides and then discarded — we don't keep them, sell them, or train on them. The built-in library is public-domain hymns only, and any CCLI or other license for copyrighted songs you bring stays with you. Read the full privacy policy for the details.

5. Built for churches, supported by churches

Song Slides is made for worship leaders, ministries, and volunteer AV teams. It's free to use, and if it saves your team time you can chip in on Ko-fi — entirely optional, and never a condition of using anything.
