A post-communion hymn written by Presbyterian hymnologist Louis F. Benson in 1924, giving thanks for the bread, cup, and words of the Eucharist, and consecrating daily life in response to Christ's sacrifice.

Verse 1

Mí-pau Chú Lí
Ūi goán lâi peh,
Phû-tô-chiú
Ūi goán lâi thîn;

Ūi Lí só kóng
oáh-miā ê oē,
Chú goán kám-siā,
sim lâi gîm.

Verse 2

By this pledge
that you do love us,
by your gift
of peace restored,

by your call
to heaven above us,
hallow all our lives,
O Lord.

Verse 3

With our sainted
ones in glory
seated at the
heavenly board,

may the church
that’s waited for you,
keep love’s tie
unbroken, Lord.

Verse 4

In your service,
Lord, defend us,
in our hearts
keep watch and ward;

in the world where
you have sent us,
let your kingdom
come, O Lord.
